Monitoring and Evaluation in Emergencies

About this Course

Monitoring and evaluation are a key tool in efforts to improve accountability and performance in the operation of the international humanitarian aid system. However, humanitarian aid has been subjected to less rigorous monitoring and evaluation procedures than those applied to development aid. This intensive training course provides participants with the essential skills and knowledge to effectively conduct Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) in emergency contexts. The course addresses the unique challenges of M&E in situations such as natural disasters, conflict zones, and humanitarian crises. Participants will learn to design, implement, and manage M&E systems that provide critical information for decision-making, thus enhancing the effectiveness of emergency response efforts.
